Vintage 1968 Saks Fifth Ave Turquoise & Gold Lamé Brocade Gown XS/S

Absolutely stunning vintage handmade 1968 gown from Saks Fifth Avenue in a rich, textured turquoise and white gold brocade with metallic gold thread accenting. Features an empire waist, a beautiful square cutout neck, and a removable waist tie belt. Also features amazing side slit pocket detailing at front of hip area. In overall excellent vintage condition with one small stain at front near pocket (pictured), not noticeable when worn. Interior tag near hem shows signature of seamstress and date of make. Due to the empire waist cut of this piece, it's best suited to a very small bust––the chest measurement should be prioritized over the waist measurement.
